Can You Really Rock a Boudoir Shoot in a Moomoo? Yep—And I Did It.
Alright, babes—let’s talk about something real. One of the most common things I hear before a session is, “I don’t know what to wear,” usually followed by some nerves about body image, comfort, or just the plain ol’ fear of the unknown. And let me tell you—you are so not alone in this.
We go over it all: during our phone consults, while you’re getting pampered with hair and makeup, and especially when we dive into the client closet together. Most of the time, my answer is simple: I can pose and work with anything. Posing is my jam. 💃🏻
But I wanted to show you exactly what I mean—so I set out to prove it.
You see, I have four moomoos that I rotate through at night. They’re soft, roomy, comfy, and absolutely not what anyone would call traditionally “sexy.” But I love them. And one day I thought, "What if I did a boudoir shoot... in this?"
So I grabbed one of my favorite moomoos, handed the camera to my husband, and we made it happen. And y’all—it turned out 🔥🔥🔥.
It wasn’t about the outfit. It was about the confidence, the vibe, the posing, the lighting, and the way I moved in front of the camera. There are some spicier shots (that I'm keeping just between me and my husband... and not posting here because hi Mom 😅), but the point is this: You don’t need the perfect outfit. You just need to show up.
When you book a session with me, I’ve got you covered. Seriously:
You’ll get tons of prep support before your shoot—including some mindset tips to help calm your nerves.
You’ll be pampered with full hair and makeup.
We’ll go through wardrobe together and find what makes you feel good.
I’ll coach you through every single pose.
I’ll hype you up the whole way through.
And you’ll walk away with images you love. Like, really love.
You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to trust the process—and trust me. 😉
Yes, even a moomoo can be boudoir magic. 💫
